【Properties】

Colorless liquid with mint fragrance, is miscible with alcohol and ether, insoluble in water. Which is easy to polymerize, especially in the presence of trace acids. It is used as intermediate for medicine, perfume, synthetic rubber and pesticide. It is the raw material for the production of new perfume--dihydrojasmonate and brandone, as well as the anxiolytic drug--Dimethylcyclone. Due to the good solubility to various resins, it has been widely used as a solvent in the electronic industry.
